JOB ON CAMPUS (JoC)

JoC offers part-time job opportunities within the responsibility centre at Universiti Malaya.

CAREERKIT

Another flagship under GECC is CareerKit, a career preparation program that enhances employability in collaboration with top employers.

The type of events under this flagship include:

  • Upskilling Training
  • Mock Interview
  • Resume Clinic
  • Career Preparation Programs
  • Mock Assessment Centre Workshop

GECC facilitates MyCareer and CareerKit for students during these periods in their semester:

  • Mid-March – End of June
  • Early October – Mid January

JOB FEST

GECC hosts an annual career fair known as Job Fest to enhance students’ employability while allowing employers to increase brand awareness.

MYCAREER

Our flagship program, known as MyCareer, consists of networking and recruitment
sessions designed to connect employers with top UM talents.

  • Guest Lectures
  • Industry Awareness Programs
  • Industrial Visits

CAREER COUNSELLING

 Career counseling can help you understand yourself if you are still unsure about your future career outlook.
You will receive assistance in making future career and life decisions based on your interests, abilities, and values.

RESUME BANK

Final year students can provide their resumes to enable employers to access potential candidates from our database. To participate, students must consent to sharing their resumes with recruiters from relevant industries.
